CBE JU Info Day in Romania 2026

About the event:

The CBE JU Info Day in Romania 2026 offers a clear and practical overview of the upcoming funding opportunities under the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU).

The event is designed to support researchers, companies, and other stakeholders who are interested in developing innovative bio-based solutions and building competitive project proposals.

Event format: The CBE JU Info Day in Romania 2026 will include two complementary components.

Both sessions will be held in English.

1) On-Site experience (09:30 - 11:30)

Participants will have the opportunity to visit the Research and Development Institute for Apiculture S.A. (ICDA), a Romanian research institute with integrated production activities, operating as a joint-stock company.

Founded in 1974, ICDA combines scientific research, technological development and production, contributing to the development of the beekeeping sector through innovative products and practical solutions.

The institute develops and produces a wide range of bee-derived products, including honey, pollen, propolis, royal jelly and beeswax products, as well as nutritional supplements, apitherapy products, veterinary treatments for bees, biostimulants and other apiculture-related products.

The visit will provide participants with practical insights into how research results and natural bio-based resources are transformed into market-ready products for the apiculture sector. For more information, please visit: https://icdapicultura.ro/ *In the days preceding the event, the National Honey Fair (13 - 15 March) will bring together beekeepers from across Romania, offering visitors the opportunity to discover a wide variety of honey and other bee products.

2) Main event – CBE JU Info Day in Romania (12:30 - 16:30)

Participants will receive essential information about the 2026 Call topics, funding conditions, and proposal preparation, while also having the opportunity to connect with experts from Romania and interact with our special guests.

The programme will also include an overview of the national context, as well as a presentation on Building Academic Capacity in Innovation Actions (IA). The session will combine presentations with open discussions. Venue:
