NCP_WIDERA.NET is funded by Horizon Europe, the European Union’s Research and Innovation Programme, under Grant Agreement No. 101055286



EU NCP_WIDERA.NET supports the capacity and effectiveness of the WIDERA National Contact Points in low performing Member States (MS) and Associated Countries (AC) and fills knowledge gaps to improve access to funding opportunities under the Horizon Europe.
The EU project aims to support international networking and coordination, and to improve the quality of proposals through better access to services provided by the NCPs during the application process, in particular with regard to Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area, as well as Pillar II actions.
EU NCP_WIDERA.NET identifies and shares good practices within the NCP community and raises the standard of support provided by NCPs to applicants. It also enables the transnational network of NCPs to better address cross-cutting objectives such as gender equality and open science.

Travel Grants
(For brokerage events in clusters Pillar II - Horizon Europe)

If you want to establish of working contacts and find new partners for proposal applications in clusters of Pillar II - Horizon Europe, you can receive up to 1000 EUR to cover the costs of your travel and accommodation to a brokerage / matchmaking event.

HE proposal pre-screening for Romanian applicants

(Pillar 2, WIDERA)


If you plan to write a project proposal and submit it to one of the calls under Pillar II (Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness) or Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area (including ERA Fellowships) of the Horizon Europe programme, you can benefit of pre-screening of your draft proposal.
You will be matched with an independent expert from the portal wideraexperts.eu who will give you recommendations on how to improve the quality of your proposal and increase your chances of receiving the funding. Your proposal is pre-screened by only one independent external expert (NB. this expert is not/will not be involved in the EC evaluation of your proposal).
 
Please note that the proposal needs to be as close to a final version as possible and needs to be written in English. The proposal must be submitted no later than 15 calendar days before the call deadline.

Study Visits for Research Managers and Administrators (RMAs), researchers

The main aim of Study Visits is to provide promising research managers and administrators (RMAs) and researchers from Widening countries the opportunity to access excellent practices and networks, by visiting leading research-based organisations with a view of taking valuable lessons learnt “home” to their host institutions for better supporting their communities.
