IHI Forum 2026: Translating research into long-term impact (July 2026)

First Research and Innovation Careers Observatory survey launched (July 2026)

The first survey of the Research and Innovation Careers Observatory (ReICO) is now live will be open until 25 September, but early participation is encouraged. The survey is intended for individual research and development personnel. Researchers are a key target group of respondents, but the survey is also open to others supporting R&D – for example, technicians, librarians, research managers, administrators, and other support staff.

Updated timeline for the Horizon Europe Cluster 1 – Health 2027 calls (July 2026)
The European Commission has communicated revised opening dates and deadlines for the Horizon Europe Cluster 1 – Health 2027 calls. HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01 and HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02 are expected to open on 29 October 2026, with a deadline/first-stage deadline on 17 February 2027, while HORIZON-HLTH-2027-03 is expected to open on 3 June 2027, with a deadline on 16 September 2027. Applicants are encouraged to consider the updated timeline when preparing proposals and building consortia.
