Types of participants
Assistance for HEu proposal design
Types of participants
In order to participate in HEu proposal, any and all organisations must be registered in the Participant Register in order to get a participant identification code (PIC).
Attention! The process of registration and validation by the European Commission Central Validation Service takes time. We recommend that you start this process and get the PIC number well before you start the proposal preparation.
The process of registration means that, for the validation, the organisation will be asked to upload the necessary documents showing their legal status and, perhaps, financial records, if necessary.
Beneficiary
In HEu proposals, a full participant is called beneficiary.
A beneficiary is a regular partner (sole participant or partner in a consortium).
A beneficiary:
-
Signs the Grant Agreement (GA) with the European Commission
-
Charges costs directly to the grant (receives EU funding) - fills in the Budget in Part A
-
Implements tasks and activities in the proposal (Part B)
