Romanian Academy “Ilie Murgulescu” Institute of Physical Chemistry and NCP@UEFISCDI Unit are organizing on 23th of May, 2023, between 11.00-12.00, at Romanian Academy Library Amphitheater a presentation session of the European Research Council program (ERC), the most prestigious EU program dedicated to funding high level scientific research. 

The purpose of this session is to provide to the academic community in Romania the general informations about the funding opportunities offered by the ERC program and implicitly to encourage Romanian researchers from any career stage to apply to this program as well.


Event`s Agenda:

  • Overview of the EU Horizon Europe program

  • Increasing the status and visibility of frontier research and the best researchers in Romania by implementing an ERC grant

  • General information about the ERC program and the particularities of each funding instrument

  • Suggestions and recommendations

 

The speakers will be Dr. Antoaneta Folea, Unit Coordinator NCP@UEFISCDI (Executive Unit for the Financing of Higher Education, Research and Innovation) and Dr. Laura Chirilă, National Contact Point for the ERC program (Executive Unit for the Financing of Higher Education, Research and Innovations.


The event is part of the series of information events organized by the NCP@UEFISCDI Unit in collaboration with the Projects and Grants Office from the "Ilie Murgulescu" Institute of Physical Chemistry, Romanian Academy.
